I was the first girl in my family to pursue higher education abroad. Customs dictated that only boys had the privilege of studying overseas. As the third of four daughters, born to parents who were not college graduates, I applied to university without my parents' knowledge. Convincing my parents to go a week before the term began, changed the trajectory of my life.
My education paved the way for me to live in the UK, working for leading companies: as an Investment Banker at Bank of America and as a Brand Marketer at Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.
It also gave me the wings to pursue an MBA at INSEAD on a merit scholarship, and later start my own ventures in retail and education.
Today, running a purpose driven business that is highly personal to me, aligns with my core value of giving back and allows me to do meaningful work. Grateful for how education transformed my life, I am now dedicated to helping others accelerate their success, one application at a time.
