What Makes INSEAD Unique: Exploring INSEAD's Core Values

INSEAD Core Value

INSEAD is one of the world’s leading business schools which is recognised for its global outlook and focus on developing future leaders. Students come from all corners of the globe, bringing with them a mix of cultures and perspectives that makes the community lively and inspiring. At the centre of INSEAD’s approach are its core values, which shape how students study, interact, and grow personally. These values help students gain the skills and confidence they need to handle complex challenges in today’s connected and fast-changing business world. INSEAD places strong emphasis on creating a positive impact on society. The school positions itself as a ‘force for good,’ and sustainability is so important that, according to the Dean, INSEAD decided not to have special modules on it but weave it throughout the entire curriculum.

Diversity and Global Mindset

INSEAD takes pride in having a truly multicultural student body, with the typical INSEAD Class Profile often including students from over 90 countries. This mix of backgrounds gives students the chance to learn from many different perspectives and build a strong international network. Working and studying alongside people from all over the world helps students develop a global mindset, which is an essential skill for today’s business leaders.

Collaboration and Teamwork

Collaboration is central to the INSEAD MBA experience. Students work in multicultural teams on projects and case studies. Teamwork is embedded in both coursework and student activities. These group experiences allow students to solve complex business problems together. They also help students build lasting professional relationships that extend beyond the classroom.

At INSEAD, students learn to communicate openly and respect different viewpoints. Working closely with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds helps them gain practical teamwork skills. These experiences make it easier for students to adapt and succeed in international business settings. Collaboration at INSEAD is not only about personal growth but also about creating a positive impact on society, as students are encouraged to use their collective skills and ideas to drive sustainable and responsible business practices.

INSEAD’s unique combination of diversity, leadership, and collaboration makes it a standout business school. These core values shape an MBA experience that challenges students while helping them grow personally and professionally. Students leave INSEAD with the skills, global mindset, and network needed to succeed in the international business world. Leadearly helps students who want to join INSEAD’s MBA programme.
